1. How Payouts Work

Gupkart OS handles all financial logistics transparently. Here is how your money moves depending on the payment method chosen by the customer:

  • Prepaid Orders (Cards/Wallets): When a customer pays online via Safepay, the funds are held in Escrow. As soon as the courier marks the parcel as "Delivered", the funds (minus the 2% platform fee) are instantly credited to your Dashboard Wallet.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD): For standard COD orders via Trax or PostEx, the courier collects the cash. This cash is settled into our Master Corporate Ledger every Tuesday and Friday. Once settled, your Dashboard Wallet reflects the cleared balance, ready for immediate withdrawal to your saved bank or JazzCash/EasyPaisa account.

2. Service Wallet Threshold (-50 PKR Rule)

Your prepaid service wallet covers platform usage and commission fees. To ensure seamless operation without unexpected interruptions, GupKart applies an automated balance threshold:

Service Control Threshold

When your wallet balance drops to 0 PKR or below, your dashboard displays a low-balance warning. If your balance reaches -50 PKR or below, automated AI conversation features are temporarily paused until you top up your service wallet through your dashboard. This is a technical service-control mechanism and all services immediately resume upon topping up.

3. Browser-First Architecture

GupKart operates as a browser-first conversational commerce platform designed for zero friction:

  • No App Installation Required: Customers simply click your shareable product link on social media or messaging platforms and chat instantly in their web browser.
  • One-Click Seller Handoff: When buyers need specialized help or want to negotiate, you can pause AI and take over conversations directly from your seller dashboard.
  • Self-Contained Order Management: Review buyer requests, capture shipping addresses, and manage fulfillment statuses directly within your GupKart dashboard.
